    1. For a brilliant production of Billy Budd may I suggest travelling to Frankfurt in May (with Peter Mattei, the best Billy Budd one could hope for and Clive Bayley). I will - and I have already seen it 3 times in 2007 ;).

    2. Thanks to "You"!

Yes, I was told that production was the best ever by Richard Jones. Ah, if I had some more time I wouldn't hesitate to make a quick jump to Frankfurt :)

Apparently this production by Zembello was great when it was premiered in Paris. I didn't see it and I'm hoping for the best.

    4. Hi Arabella! Mignon is a cute little opera, so prepare yourself for some good singing and light music, but do not expect a big production. Thought I better prepare you for it ;)

    5. After vocal cord surgery and a long recuperation Rolando Villazón made a triumphant return in March to the Vienna stage in "L'Elisir d'Amore." Let's hope that this outstanding tenor limits his performance schedule. Arabella, enjoy his Paris recital!
